Mr. Dewan Sabbir Ahammed Rayhan is a young researcher and Bangladeshi professional with an M.Sc. in Management of Technology from BUET, Dhaka, and a B.Sc. in Industrial and Production Engineering from RUET, Rajshahi. He is currently serving as a Technical Officer in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) at the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER), where he has been employed for seven years. With a decade of industry experience, Mr. Rayhan has a strong background in teaching, research, and technical training. His role involves conducting practical classes, administering exams, overseeing training programs, and leading research initiatives. Moreover, He is working as an Industrial Competency Assessor of Quality Control Management for RMG occupation for the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA). His career also includes experience as a Senior Officer at Padma Bovs Apparels & Closuers Limited and a Management Trainee Officer at Ventura Leatherware Mfy (BD) Ltd. (Well Group of Company). Mr. Rayhan is trained in effective teaching, garment technology, industrial engineering, and lean manufacturing, and is a certified trainer and assessor with expertise in RMG production and industrial engineering. He has a specialization in Multi-criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) Tools (ELECTRE, AHP, AHP, FUZZY, TOPSIS, and Hybridization of MCDA Tools), Statistical Analysis, and Operations Research. His research interests are in Waste Management, Application of Circular Economy Concepts, Application of AI in Waste Management, Technology Assessment, etc. He has published some journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings.
